The MIT website features the Centre for e-governance set up by the Ministry of Information and Technology (MIT), Govt. of India. Apart from offering e-governance solutions and services, the Centre showcases applications by various IT majors like C-DAC, CMC, IQ Virtuals, Microsoft, NIC and Oracle. This list will expand soon. The Centre aims to offer services such as technical consultation, proof of concept and thematic presentations, apart from creating awareness amongst decision makers at the Central and State level and helping them in defining and implementing process and policy changes for effective e-Governance.

Commonwealth Secretariat's Centre for Electronic Governance

As part of its activities on Public Services Management, as mandated by the Commonwealth Programme "Towards a New Public Administration", the Management and Training Services Division of the Commonwealth Secretariat has announced the launch of a special focus centre under the name of The Centre for Electronic Governance. Currently the Centre is a virtual organisational entity. The status of the Centre's physical manifestation is the subject of discussions and consultations with a number of organisations and institutions. Government of Malaysia

MCSL is the official gateway for Malaysian Government information and online services. The MCSL website is linked to all government websites and vice versa. In 1994, the Government has established Civil Service Link (CSL), a database containing public service information, which could be accessed by business communities and the general public. In line with the advancement of IT and Internet technology, the capability of the system has been upgraded to form Malaysian Civil Service Link (MCSL). OPEN (Online Procedures ENhancement for Civil Applications)
 

An Internet portal called OPEN (Online Procedures ENhancement for Civil Applications) created by the Municipal Government of Seoul has been aimed at opening up the administrative pocedures to the public and facilitate a direct and convenient interface with the citizens for achievinglower corruption levels and increased transparency. http://english.metro.seoul.kr/government/policies/ anti/civilapplications/

The portal explains the various elements of the anti-corruption drive, displays an anticorruption index and survey results, educates citizens on rules and procedures, and enables a real-time monitoring of the progress of an application for a permit or a license. The system publishes a variety of information related to the services, permits and licenses issued by the local government. The system was recognized as a “Good Practice” at the 9th International Anti-Corruption Conference in Durban, South Africa in 1999.
