A limited he OpenXdata Consortium is proud to announce an OpenXdata Workshop on April 21, 2010 at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Handheld Solutions & Research Labs, a Bangalore based founding member of the OpenXdata Consortium is facilitating this Workshop along with the ICEG-2010 Conference.

OpenXdata is a community-developed, open-source, enterprise end-to-end software solution for handling virtually any type of electronic forms based data collection and management using mobile devices and web forms (online or offline). OpenXdata is the first FREE and completely OPEN SOURCE end-to-end solution of its kind that can use both high- and low-end mobile devices and mobile phones as well as in a regular web-browser to show and capture forms based data.

The objective of the Workshop is to inform the user community of the capabilities of the OpenXdata Platform. The Consortium members felt that an OpenXdata Workshop that precedes the 7th International Conference on E-Government (ICEG-2010) by a day would be of use to those potential users thinking of deploying electronic forms based data collection for diverse applications.
